BA Mechanical Engineering- Texas A&M University 2013. Currently pursuing MS in Mechanical Engineering (University of Detroit Mercy), and considering pursing an Education Degree afterwards with the intent to apply knowledge/education (as well as industry experience) to future teaching roles.
Experience
I have 2 yrs experience Tutoring Middle School Math/Science, 2 yrs experience Tutoring College Physics & Chemistry, and I occasionally tutored High School/AP Level Math/Physics/Chemistry. I have tutored through High School and College, but I had to take a break from Tutoring 2 years ago when work & other life obligations took over all my time. Over the 2 year period, I realized I really missed the joy that tutoring/teaching brought, so I decided I wanted to return to it. I have always enjoyed tutoring and helping students learn by filling in gaps in their coursework. I work full time as an Automotive Engineer, but would like to continue tutoring part time to continue developing my teaching skills with the hope to combine my tutoring experience with an Engineering Master's (and probably an Educational degree) to transition into full-time teaching much later in my career.
