Experience

I went to Wayne State University to earn my bachelor's degree in English, graduating with honors. I switched my major from physics to English, so I've taken plenty of science and math courses as well. I also attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary for a master's degree in theological studies. Since graduating, I've had the opportunity to teach composition, Shakespeare, and American literature. I love teaching, and I can help students learn a number of different topics, but my favorites are composition and literature. I'm skilled at modifying my approach to match the learning style, age, ability, and needs of each student I work with. When I have free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, chess, watching the theater, reading, and spending time with my family.
