Experience
Once a week I hold a study session where underclassmen in the same program as me can ask any questions they want on pertinent topics to our field of study. During these study groups I often use tactics like playing jeopardy, or using colorful flashcards to hold the students attention and make concepts easier to grasp. I have teacher assisted a class of 24 for the past year and I find that the students learn information much more easily when taught by a peer. I believe I can also be very beneficial one on one. I have taken classes such as Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Pharmacology, Medical Terminology, Nutrition, Therapeutic Modalities, Therapeutic Exercise, Kinesiology, First Aid, Evaluation Procedures, and Exercise Physiology. I have had an internship at Med. Sport physical therapy clinic through U of M, an internship at Center for Physical Rehabilitation, and another at Orthopedic Associates of Michigan, all working with their orthopedic physical therapists as well as their aquatic therapists. Through these internships I have been trained in patient care, following surgeon protocols, and gait/throwing analysis. I am extremely organized so my position as secretary of the athletic training club at Aquinas suits me well. I am certified in first aid, CPR, and BBP and I have a cumulative GPA of 3.6.

Hobbies
In my spare time I enjoy playing volleyball, and spending time with my friends. I love the occasional afternoon spent at Tigers stadium. I work at a golf course so I also enjoy playing a round when its nice out.
