Do you need assistance with English and writing classes? I can help! I’m a tutor with a BA in honors English from Wayne State. I have taught college classes in freshman English, Shakespeare, and modern American authors. While in college I took literature classes in Shakespeare and Milton, three Honors seminars, and a directed study in William Faulkner. I took writing classes in poetry, fiction, and expository writing. I’ve worked as an assistant editor for the Gale reference series Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, and have had my own writing edited and critiqued. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help someone learn in a one-on-one setting where I can focus on the areas where the student needs help the most.
